The Engineering Behind Focus
Tact was born in Exeter University, founded by a team of students who found that traditional fidget toys lacked the dignity and tactile quality an adult professional requires. We believe that managing stress and maintaining focus shouldn't come with a plastic click or a neon aesthetic.
Our mission is to create precision-engineered tools that live on your desk as a piece of functional art. Every MagPlate is machined from high-quality aluminium and solid brass, ensuring a permanent place in your daily carry. We focus on circular sustainability, choosing materials that last, rather than contributing to the cycle of disposable electronics and plastics. Also founding the Tact Foundation in order to help educate and bring awareness surrounding neurodivergence.
Our Core Values
We prioritize long-lasting materials like aluminium and brass over disposable plastics, ensuring our tools serve you for a lifetime, not a season.
Sustainability
Fidgeting is a human necessity. Our designs respect this by being subtle, quiet, and aesthetically refined for professional environments.
Dignity
Engineering-led development means every movement is calculated for the perfect tactical response, helping adults manage focus with ease.
Precision
Engineered Standards
High-Quality materials and precise tolerances define every tool we create. We don’t just build toys; we engineer precision instruments designed for a lifetime of focus.
